Valentine is an American alternative rock band that mixes their style of music with that of indie rock .
history
Emily Ellis was the founder of the band, but soon had to leave because she preferred to study law. Meanwhile the band was continued with a different line-up and under the name "Her Alibye". Emily later rejoined the band and after performing on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour , they changed their name back to Valentine.
On February 14, 2010, the debut album Today It Begins was released in the USA . The album was released in Japan in July . Valentine is signed to Grizz Rhythms and Spinning Records .
