Valentines is a town in Uruguay .

geography

location

It is located on the territory of the departments of Treinta y Tres and Florida in the sectors 6 and 4 in the Cuchilla Grande . The closest settlements in the Florida department area are each a few kilometers north of Cerro Chato and Nico Pérez in the south.

Natural resources

Iron ore deposits exist at Valentines.

Residents

Valentines had 178 inhabitants at the 2011 census, of whom 133 (71 male and 62 female) were in Treinta y Tres and 45 (22 male and 23 female) were in Florida. In 2004 there were still 217 inhabitants, 178 of them in Treinta y Tres and 39 in Florida.
