Valentino Varela
Valentino Varela is an East Timorese politician from the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.
Career
Cruz was sworn in on August 8, 2007 as Secretary of State for Livestock under Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão . He retained the post after the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2012 when the new government was formed. With the government reshuffle on February 11, 2015, the position under the new Prime Minister Rui Maria de Araújo was canceled and Varela lost his office.
