Valeria Solarino (born November 4, 1978 in Barcelona , Venezuela ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Valeria Solarino was born in Barcelona, ​​Venezuela to a Sicilian father and Turin mother. She studied for four years at the University of Turin philosophy and then acting at the prestigious film school Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Torino . She then played theater and made her debut in the 2003 dramas La felicità non costa niente and Fame chimica . In the 2004 drama Che ne sarà di noi , directed by Giovanni Veronesi , she played alongside Silvio Muccino and Violante Placido . Both became a couple after filming and are currently engaged to each other (as of July 2012).
