Valerio Dorico
Valerio Dorico (* in Ghedi near Brescia around 1500; † probably 1565 in Rome ) was an Italian printer and typographer .
Dorico was an important printer in the middle of the 16th century. a. is responsible for printed music by Giovanni Animuccia , Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Diego Ortiz . He opened his office in Rome in 1526. After the Sacco di Roma , in addition to Dorico, only Antonio Blado and Francesco Giulio Calvo resumed their work as book printers in the city.
