The Vallis Baade is a lunar valley on the western edge of the front of the moon , which runs over a distance of over 200 kilometers, starting from the small crater Bouvard D , northeast of the crater Baade (moon crater) in a south-westerly direction and ends at the crater Inghirami K.

The valley runs like the Vallis Bouvard , as the continuation of which it can be seen, or the roughly parallel Vallis Inghirami radially away from the large impact basin of the Mare Orientale .

The name after the crater Baade , which in turn is named after the German astronomer Walter Baade , was awarded by the IAU in 1964 .
