The Valmuedalen (meaning "Mohntal") is an ice-free valley in the north-east Greenland National Park between Adam-Biering-Land in the west and Heilprin-Land in the east. It flows into the Marie-Sophie glacier .

Valmuedalen was discovered in 1912 by the First Thule Expedition and named after the numerous yellow poppies that grow here . The remaining vegetation consists mainly of grasses and the arctic willow . The wide, water-rich valley also offers a suitable habitat for mammals such as musk ox , mountain hare and lemmings, as well as birds such as ptarmigan , stone turnstones , sanderlings , little ringed plover and hawk skuas , but also some insects .
