Vana Tallinn

Vana Tallinn ( Old Tallinn ) is a strong Estonian liqueur .

The liqueur is dark brown in color. Its taste is determined by vanilla extracts, cinnamon , citrus oils and mild rum . It is mainly enjoyed with and in coffee , but is also used as a praline filling. As a shot in mulled wine , it is occasionally offered in Estonian mulled wine at some Christmas markets.

The manufacturer is AS Liviko in Tallinn , whose name comes from Tallinna Li kööri- ja Vi inatehas ( Tallinn liqueur and vodka factory ) and which can look back on an eventful, more than 100-year history.

The liqueur is 40, 45 and 50% vol. Alcohol sold, there is also a cream liqueur Vana Tallinn Kooreliköör with 16% vol.
