Vanja Sky

Vanja Sky (* 1993 ) is a Croatian blues rock singer who also plays guitar .

The musician didn't start playing the guitar until she was 19. Two years later she joined a band in Zagreb . In 2018 she toured as part of the Blues Caravan concert series organized by Ruf Records . In 2019 she performed in Germany together with the US group Jane Lee Hooker at the Rother Bluestagen . In 2019 she toured with her band as support for the English band UFO , which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.

In 2019 she formed a group with three other musicians that went on tour:

  • Roger Inniss (bass)
  • Eduard Jimmy Matesic (guitar), also a member of the Plava Trava Zaborava group
  • Hanser student (drums), from Hamburg
