Vaqazin (also Vagazin , Vaghazin ; Armenian Վաղազին , Waghasin ; Russian Вахазин , Wachasin or Вагазин , Wagasin ) is a place in Azerbaijan in the Laçın district .

Vaqazin lies in the area occupied by the Armenian army since May 1992 and administered by the internationally unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh . The Nagorno-Karabakh authorities assigned the village to the district (Schrdzhan) of Kashatach . According to the 2005 census in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the place had 72 inhabitants, 58 of them in the main town and a total of 14 in the three settlements of Arjadzor, Martiros and Meghrashen.
