Vasco Are

Vasco Are (* 1943 in Cuneo ; † 2001 in Turin ) was an Italian artist.

Are worked in many fields of art. So he was a poet and painter, sculptor and film director. In his most famous work, Vele di Natale , he mixed wood with Plexiglas elements.

Are was represented several times at the Luci d'Artista in Turin.

In 1973 he shot a feature film with amateur actors, KEB
