Vasilis Soukas ( Greek Βασίλης Σούκας , also Vassilis Soukas ; born March 25, 1931 in Komboti near Arta ; † June 28, 1993 ) was a Greek clarinetist.

Soukas came from a family of musicians; his father Anastasios Soukas and his great-grandfather of the same name played the clarinet, his grandfather Theodoros Soukas the violin. He himself learned Laouto at the age of five and played in his family's musical group. At the age of twelve he began to play the guitar, santur and cymbal and took his first clarinet lessons. He then switched entirely to the clarinet and went to Athens in 1959.

There he performed in all well-known cultural centers and soon led the Glykoharama with partners such as Gioula Kotrosou , Aleko Kostas , Sofia Papakosta and Thanasis Varama . Since the mid-1960s he also worked for Marten Gesar 's Pan Vox label , where he produced classic and modern folk songs. His collaboration with Nikos Saragoudas , Giorgos Kourtis , Christos Fotiou and from 1973 to 1976 with Thanasis Varsamas was particularly successful . In 1993 he gave his last concert in Athens with Ross Daly and Michalis Stavrakakis .
