Vasterival

Le Vasterival is a botanical garden in the commune of Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer in the Seine-Maritime department in Normandy .

The garden covers an area of ​​9 hectares and is privately owned. The park was laid out in 1957 by the Romanian-Moldovan Princess Greta (Margareta) Sturdza, born Kvaal (Oslo April 1, 1915 - Varangéville, Meurthe-et-Moselle November 29, 2009), Vice-President of the Royal Horticultural Society .

The garden around the former house of the composer Albert Roussel has been transformed into what is probably the most famous private park in the world and is accessible to groups of visitors.
