Vaughan Bank

The Vaughan Bank ( English ) is a bank in the Antarctic Somow Sea . It is located off the Oates coast of Victoria Land or west of the Balleny Islands .
The namesake of the name, recognized by the US Advisory Committee for Undersea Features (ACUF) since April 1980, is Vie John Vaughan (1917–1977), commander of the USS Glacier on a US-New Zealand expedition to the Balleny Islands.
