Dagmar Varady (* 1961 in Erfurt ) is a German concept and media artist .

Life

Dagmar Varady studied until 1989 at Burg Giebichenstein , University for Industrial Design in Halle and until 2001 media art in the subject Intermedia at the University for Graphics and Book Art Leipzig . In 2009 she was the founding founder and since then has been the chairman of the board of the SYN Foundation | Art design science.

In addition to installations from films , videos , photography , computer animation and drawings , her work also includes tapestries . Her work complexes include "Seven Synthetic Stones", "Emergency Library", "Cloud Atlas" and "Menu Germany".
