Vedior NV was an international company that provided services and placement services in the field of flexible work. The company was headquartered in Amsterdam and was represented in 50 countries around the world. Around 400,000 employees work in the approximately 2,400 branches. In 2007 a turnover of 8.4 billion euros was achieved.

In May 2008, Vedior was taken over by the Dutch competitor Randstad . Since June 25, 2008, the shares have not been traded any more.

Vedior was originally founded by the Dutch retail chain Vendex and acquired by the French company Bis . In 1999, Vedior took over the British company Select, which operated in the United States and Australia.

Germany

In Germany, the subsidiary Vedior Personaldienstleistungen GmbH was active with 46 branches. Around 3,100 employees worked there for the company. In 2007 Vedior received the seal of "Germany's most customer-oriented service provider" from the University of St. Gallen.
