Vegetation ecology
The vegetation ecology and plant sociology is a branch of plant ecology . She examines the relationships within and between plant communities (also historically) as well as the dependence of vegetation on location or human use. Since the composition of the plant cover can be used as an indicator of the environmental status of an area , it is of central importance for ecological assessments. Grid mapping is an essential method of vegetation ecology .
