The Venture Capital Magazine (VC magazine) is one of the magazine Going Public magazine developed and Karim Serrar initiated trade magazine , which appears since May 2000th Gudrun Kosche was the first editor-in-chief until the beginning of 2001 ; Benjamin Heimlich has held this position since January 2015 . As the publishing director, Mathias Renz has been managing the commercial aspects of the magazine since 2011 at the latest.

Contents, issue division categories

In addition to ten regular monthly issues, two special issues, currently Start-up and Tech-Guide , as well as six to ten special supplements on various topics are published every year . VentureCapital Magazin is currently the only German-language specialist newspaper that deals exclusively with all types of OTC corporate finance.

The monthly edition has five main sections:

  2. Early Stage & Expansion (focus on start-ups and growth companies)
  3. Mittelstand / Buyouts (Mittelstand and M&A )
  4. Investing (especially funds of funds)
  5. Database (deals, appointments, personnel)

The VentureCapital magazine is also flanked by the weekly newsletter Private Equity Flash .

Others

At the German Journalists' Prize , the leading editors have received several awards in the “Private Equity and M&A” category: Andreas Uhde with the articles “Tiger on the jump” (VentureCapital magazine 12/2006) and “Back on the go” (VentureCapital magazine 1/2008) as well as Torsten Paßmann with “Quo vadis, KfW?” (VentureCapital Magazin 1/2011). In addition, editor Susanne Gläser was one of the finalists in 2011.
