Verónica Volkow

Verónica Volkow Fernández (born April 26, 1955 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican poet, art critic and translator.

Volkow is the eldest of four daughters of the fashion designer Palmira Fernández († 1997) and the chemist Esteban Volkov , the son of Sinaida Wolkowa . She published exhibition catalogs on Arnold Belkin , Francisco Toledo , Christine Couture , Nicholas Sperakis and translated the works of her great-grandfather Leon Trotsky , Victor Serge , Henri Michaux , Michael Hamburger and Elizabeth Bishop .
