Veraudunus
Veraudunus was a Celtic god from the Treveri area . It is only attested by two inscriptions from Widdenberg in Luxembourg , on which it is called Inciona . Hence, one can assume that she was his companion. Lenus is also mentioned on a bronze votive offering .
It may be that Veraudunus was seen as a personified Widdenberg, who may have had the same name at the time. An etymological derivation would speak for this, namely from Gallic * vero-dunon, i.e. H. "Great fortified hill", the same origin as that of the French cities called Verdun .
