Association of Austrian Film Outfitters
The Verband Österreichischer Filmausstatterinnen (VÖF), the English Austrian Filmdesigners Association , is the professional association of filmmakers working in the fields of production design , costume design , props and cloakrooms . It was founded in 1987 by the first three professions, and in 1989 the cloakroom was added. It is the only independent, self-organized and self-financed interest group for these professional groups.
The activities of the VÖF include this external representation as well as the promotion of communication between its members and the distribution of information: exchange of experiences, further training, free legal advice, specialist topics.
The VÖF is a member of the umbrella organization of Austrian filmmakers .
