Association of German refrigeration and air conditioning companies
The Association of German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Specialists e. V. is a professional association that represents the political and economic interests of German refrigeration system manufacturers. He is based in Bonn in the Josef-Biber-Haus .

The IKK Messe- Wirtschafts- und Informationsdienste GmbH organizes with the VDKF e. V. as the ideal sponsor is the IKK - International Trade Fair for Refrigeration , Air Conditioning , Ventilation . The VDKF e. V. as a trade association for small and medium-sized plant construction companies with the manufacturing industry. The VDKF provides its 1,200 member companies with industry-relevant and business information and supports them with services, seminars and insurance.
The national implementation of European regulations and standards , e.g. B. EG-VO 842/2006 (F-Gase-VO), EG-VO 2037/2000, DIN EN 378, or the chemical ozone layer regulation (ChemOzonSchichtV), provides the operators of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and the refrigeration and air conditioning Specialist companies face new tasks. These include u. a. extensive leakage controls, emission reduction, energy efficiency, maintenance tasks, protocol obligations and the recording of direct and indirect emissions. The VDKF has developed the industry software VDKF-LEC Leakage and Energy Control for this purpose.
The VDKF collects data and information from the industry in the form of refrigerant statistics, emission data, climate balances, ozone pollution balances, CO 2 equivalents, data on energy efficiency.
The association is a member of the DIN standards committee for refrigeration, Forschungsrat Kältetechnik e. V. and the competence working group for heat pumps and refrigeration systems.
