Association of Chemistry Teachers in Austria

The Association of Chemistry Teachers Austria has the abbreviation VCÖ and was founded in 1985 in Salzburg , where it is based.

Its members are mainly teachers at secondary schools , new middle schools, higher schools and universities as well as students. The specialist journal Chemie und Schule and the children's and youth journal molecular cool are published four times a year .

The association organizes advanced training events for teachers and the European Chemistry Teachers' Congress every two years.
