Association of qualified experts in accounting and controlling
veb.ch is the Swiss association of qualified experts in accounting and controlling and the holder of the federal certificate in finance and accounting. It is the largest Swiss professional association for managers in accounting and controlling .
The association was founded in 1936. He has set himself the goal of further training , representing the interests of the profession and public relations. Together with the Commercial Association , it is the holder of the diploma and specialist certificate exams for accounting professionals. The diploma accountant examination was carried out for the first time by KV Switzerland in 1909. In 1934 it received state recognition with the new Swiss Vocational Training Act . Experts in accounting and controlling and holders of the specialist certificates in finance and accounting are now the qualified and state-certified specialists in Switzerland for all accounting issues at all levels of the company.
In 2007 the association had around 8,000 members across Switzerland . Veb.ch includes the Associazione dei contabili-controller diplomati federali ACF in Ticino and the Chambre des Experts en Finance et en Controlling SWISCO in western Switzerland as well as the regional groups Bern, Northwestern Switzerland, Eastern Switzerland, Central Switzerland and Zurich.
The association magazine “accounting & controlling” with a circulation of 14,000 copies appears four times a year. The office has been located in the Kaufleuten building in Zurich since January 2014.
