The Association of German Turners and Wooden Toy Makers' Crafts eV is a legally competent association based in Fürth . It sees itself as the common interest group of German wood turners and wooden toy makers .

It was founded in Hamburg in 1879. With the amendment of the craft regulations, the name of the federal association was renamed "Association of the German wood turner and wood toy maker trade eV" . Federal guild master is Walter Hoppe.

Purpose and tasks of the association

The association serves the uniform formation of will in all professional questions of its members towards all federal and other administrative and service offices in the Federal Republic of Germany. It has the task of looking after the technical, economic, cultural and social concerns of the companies belonging to it and of representing the common affairs of the regional associations or guilds of the individual companies affiliated to it.

Annual general meeting

Once a year (on the third weekend after Whitsun) there is an invitation to the ordinary general assembly as part of the “German Drechslertag” , which is held at different locations in Germany. Consultations with the board take place several times a year as required.
