Wooden toy maker

The wooden toy maker is a state-recognized training occupation according to the German Vocational Training Act and the German Crafts Code . It was developed in Seiffen after the reunification of Germany as a successor to the training available in the GDR as a skilled worker for wooden toys .

Wooden toy makers make wooden toys as well as wooden handicrafts . The main focus of the apprenticeship is in the Ore Mountains , where Ore Mountain folk art is produced.
