Association of Protestant day-care centers in Schleswig-Holstein
The Association of Protestant Daycare Centers in Schleswig-Holstein eV (VEK), based in Rendsburg ( Schleswig-Holstein ), represents the interests of almost 600 Protestant daycare centers in Schleswig-Holstein. The VEK is a professional association of the Diakonisches Werk Schleswig-Holstein and at the same time an independent association within the Northern Church. The association is a member of the Federal Association of Protestant Day Care Centers for Children (BETA).
With around 37,000 daycare places, the Protestant institutions are market leaders in Schleswig-Holstein. Together with the church-diaconal day-care centers in Hamburg, you have put yourself under the motto "Protestant day-care centers - Growing up with God." Around 5,300 educational specialists are employed in the Protestant day-care centers in Schleswig-Holstein.
