Association participation

The association participation is a term used in connection with the environmental law and with the specific cooperate or participation rights and information rights of nature conservation groups and to various federal and state laws relates.

The association's participation gives the nature conservation groups recognized according to § 3 of the Environmental Remedies Act a right to information and a right to participate in environmentally relevant topics, insofar as it affects their self-imposed tasks, which must be anchored in the association's statutes.

Together with from §§ 4, 6 - 8 of the Aarhus Convention sprung federal laws

and their implementation at state level in state laws

and Section 63 of the Act on Nature Conservation and Landscape Management (Federal Nature Conservation Act, BNatSchG) and its implementation at state level in state laws , the rights that form the basis of association participation arise.
