Connection node

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Connection knot is the name for a group of knots used to connect lines ( seamanship ), cords ( fishing ) or ropes (logistics, climbing) or their ends.

In addition to the type of stress, the ratio of connected lines plays a role: whether it is the same or different strengths to monofilament or braided cords . The best known knot for connecting similar ropes is the square knot .
