The series was produced by the BBC and Mike Salisbury in 2005 and was released on DVD in August 2006. The first broadcast on television was on the BBC on November 23, 2005. The German first broadcast on free TV was on March 9, 2006 on VOX . Further broadcasts could be seen from 2006 to 2011 on VOX.
