Cynthia Lee Maughan

Cynthia Lee Maughan (* 1949 in Bell , California ) is an American video artist who lives in Los Angeles .

Life

Maughan was born in California in 1949. In 1974 she made her Masters at California State University in Long Beach .

Between 1973 and 1980 she produced nearly 300, mostly short video performances .

Her work is influenced by William Wegman , Paul McCarthy and Martha Rosler .
