Verdières

Verdières is the name of a merged municipality in the canton of Friborg , Switzerland .

As of January 1, 2017, it is to be taken from the current political communities of Cugy (FR) (FSO No. 2011), Fétigny (FSO no. 2016), Ménières (FSO no. 2027), Nuvilly (FSO no. 2035) and Les Montets (FSO No. 2050) are created.

The project was rejected at the polls in June 2015 because the municipality of Les Montets voted against (all other municipalities voted in favor).
