Verdi Verdi ( Green Greens ) are a small party in Italy with a programmatic focus on environmental protection and federalism .

In contrast to the larger Italian green party, the Federazione dei Verdi , they represent environmental protection on the basis of Catholicism and the liberal, secular, republican tradition.

The Verdi Verdi supported the government of the Casa delle Libertà . Critics call them a dummy list ("Lista Civetta") , which is only supposed to withdraw votes from the Federazione dei Verdi . However, the Verdi Verdi have a stronghold in Piedmont , where the party headquarters are.

The Verdi Verdi were not admitted to the Italian parliamentary election in 2006 .
