Association for customer Ösels

Saaremaa Museum in Kuressaare's Arensburg

The Association for Customer Ösels ( Estonian Saaremaa Uurimise Selts ) is an Estonian research company. It was founded in 1865 on the Estonian island of Saaremaa (German Ösel ), at the same time as the predecessor of today's Saaremaa Museum .

The largest city on Saaremaa ( Ösel ) is Kuressaare (1952–1988: Kingissepa ; German Arensburg ).

The publications he edited appeared since 1891 and contain historical and local history treatises.
