Verena Sonnleitner

Verena Sonnleitner (born September 14, 1971 ) is an Austrian civil servant. From December 2014 she was district chief in the Mistelbach district , and since April 2018 she has been district chief in the Baden district .

education and profession

Sonnleitner studied law ( academic degree : Mag. Iur. ) And joined the state service in 2001. She started school at the Baden District Administration and since February 2002 has been working as a training lawyer at the St. Pölten District Administration. In August 2003 she was transferred to the Mödling district administration .

In February 2010 she was deputy district captain at the district administration in Bruck an der Leitha . In the same position, she moved to the Mödling district administration in March 2011. Verena Sonnleitner succeeded Gerhard Schütt on December 1, 2014 as district captain in the Mistelbach district, who was retiring.

On April 1, 2018, she succeeded Heinz Zimper as district chief of the Baden district, and Gerlinde Draxler succeeded her as district chief in the Mistelbach district.

Verena Sonnleitner has been married since 1996 and has two daughters and a son.
