Verena Volkhausen

Verena Volkhausen is a German journalist . From 2008 to 2014 she was editor-in-chief of the magazine Mädchen .

Life

Volkhausen studied German and media studies.

She completed her journalistic training at the Burda School of Journalism . She then worked for women's magazines and people magazines, among other things as head of the news department at the women's magazine Jolie .

Volkhausen was 32 years old when she was appointed editor-in-chief of the magazine Mädchen on September 1, 2008 . In this position she succeeded Anja Müller-Lochner . During her maternity leave , announced in 2009 , she was represented by Nike Vlachos .
