Seduction and Love is a Manhwa series by the South Korean Manhwaga Lee Hyeon-sook (이현숙). It tells the story of a love affair between a teacher and a student, inspired by the US film Eiskälte Engel .

Do-Woon Jeong recently started teaching at Daiwon High School. Although she is popular, she has to step in as a substitute for a fancy class teacher who is staying away longer due to a baby break. That wouldn't be a problem, but one of the students named Ryumin begins to make advances to her. Because of her good looks, she is envied by the girls and admired by the boys.
The quiet and withdrawn student Ryumin falls in love with the teacher. Do-Woon is increasingly confused by his advances. Ryumin has had a scar on his upper body since his then-mistress died in a motorcycle accident, but he survived. Only his girlfriend Ha-Yeong, with whom he has already had sex, knows about the scar. Ha-Yeong is unaware of Ryumin's feelings about the teacher. However, Hyeon-Woo Nam, a young teacher who had studied with her, is also in love with Do-Woon.
Do-Woon eventually learns that her brother Gyeo-Woon knows Ryumin. Ryumin was at Gyeo-Woon's school before his accident. Gyeo-Woon disapproves of the beginning relationship between the two because, it turns out, Ryumin at the previous school already had a teacher as a mistress who looked like Do-Woon. Gyeo-Woon was in love with the same teacher at the time and it was rumored that she was about to get married. Furious with jealousy, Ryumin grabbed his lover and continued with her, whereupon the accident occurred.
Do-Woon falls for Ryumin more and more and finally surrenders to him. Ryumin leaves Ha-Yeong while Do-Woon quits her teaching job after it is revealed that she is having a relationship with a student. Both decide to leave together, but Ryumin does not show up at the agreed meeting point. When Do-Woon visits his apartment, it has been cleared and Ryumin has disappeared. The only sign of life she has from him is a cell phone whose number only he knows. She takes a new job at a tutoring school and hopes Ryumin will call on the cell phone.
Publications
The Manhwa was published in Korea from 2004 to 2005 in individual chapters in Issue magazine . The publishing house Daiwon CI brought out these individual chapters in five anthologies.
The five books were published in German from February to October 2007 by Panini Comics on the Planet Manhwa label. In France, Saphira publishes Manhwa as Plus beau que l'amour .

In the AnimaniA , the Manhwa was described as a gloomy love story. "Lee's Manhwa is not only convincing in terms of content but also optically with her drawing style reminiscent of Kazumi Yuana [...] across the board."
