The Musée des Transports en commun du Pays de Liège ( French for Museum of Local Public Transport of the Liège Country ) is a transport museum in the Belgian city ​​of Liège , in French Liège . It opened on April 25, 1985 and is located in an old depot of the former Liège tram . The facility is managed by the GOE "Musée des Transports en Commun du Pays de Liège" asbl .

The museum is located at 9 rue Richard Heintz in the Vennes-Fétinne district, where the former "Natalis" depot of the Société des Transports Intercommunaux de la Région Liégeois (STIL) is located. STIL was created in 1964 from the merger of Tramways Unifiés de Liége & Extensions (TULE) and Société Anonyme des Railways Economiques Liège-Seraing & Extensions (RELSE).

Particular attention will be given to the development of local public transport in and around Liège. However, exhibits from other parts of Belgium and neighboring countries are also on display. In addition to the collection of various vehicles from stagecoaches to trams and trolleybuses to omnibuses , including many special vehicles, numerous miniature models and uniforms are also on display.

A special feature is a two- way trolleybus that ran from 1936 to 1964 on the overland route from Liège to Seraing . These vehicles each had two pairs of pantographs facing in opposite directions in the direction of travel .
