The Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of Christ (Polish: Kościół Przemienienia Pańskiego ) in Warsaw is a Catholic Capuchin church on ul. Miodowa in downtown Warsaw, not far from Palace Square .
history
The church and the monastery of the Capuchins were founded in 1683 by King John III. Sobieski was donated as a votive for the victories in the battles of Chocim and Vienna and was built from 1683 to 1694 in the Baroque style by Isidoro Affaitati the Younger , Augustyn Wincenty Locci and Tylman van Gameren . The king-donor had his heart buried in the church.

The church is located in downtown Warsaw on Miodowa Street, not far from the Palace Square .
