Verlag Beleke GmbH was founded in 1964 as Verlag Beleke KG by the publisher Norbert Beleke in Essen. Today it is part of a publishing cooperation, which has also included Max Schmidt-Römhild GmbH & Co. KG - Germany's oldest publishing and printing company since 1579 - in Lübeck since 1977 .
