Norbert Beleke

Norbert Beleke (born July 4, 1929 in Lünen ; † November 11, 2019 ) was a German publisher .

Life

Beleke founded the Beleke publishing house in Essen in 1964 . In 1977 he became a managing partner at the Schmidt-Römhild publishing house in Lübeck. a. since 1979 the standard work Who is Who? issues.

Since 1968 he has been involved in the Association of German Information and Directory Media . From 1984 to 2001 he was President and from 2001 he was Honorary President. From 1992 to 1996 he was Vice-President of the European Association of Directory Publishers in Brussels.

He donated several prizes: Schmidt-Römhild-Technologiepreis des Landes Schleswig-Holstein (1988), advancement award for the offspring of Lübeck handicrafts (1997), prevention award for pediatrics (1998) and mobile and safe award for traffic guards (2000).

Beleke was married and had a daughter.
