Numbers in love

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The love numbers, and partner numbers called, are a pedagogical trick for school in the subject computing .

method

The partner numbers or numbers in love are often introduced playfully. The students make, for example, halves of the heart on which they write the numbers and then move them, e.g. B. connect with pattern clips. The numbers in the number range up to ten are merged into pairs that always add up to ten:

  1. 1 plus 9 equals 10
  2. 2 plus 8 equals 10
  3. 3 plus 7 equals 10
  4. 4 plus 6 equals 10
  5. 5 plus 5 equals 10
  6. 6 plus 4 equals 10
  7. 7 plus 3 equals 10
  8. 8 plus 2 equals 10
  9. 9 plus 1 equals 10
  10. 10 plus 0 equals 10

Since ten is an essential number in the decimal system , it is always easier to know the individual decomposition in the range ten by heart. This can be additionally supported by rhymes.

The ability to decompose tens is generally required for the calculation transition beyond the full tens. The number is divided up, first the calculation is made up to the next ten and then further. To make it easier to learn, there are also songs about these numbers in love .

The numbers in love in the range up to 100 (also called married numbers) are expanded when whole tens are put together in pairs, e.g. B. 10 plus 90, 30 plus 70, etc.
