Verrettes
Verrettes is a city in the Artibonite department in northern Haiti . The city is located on road 109 around 60 kilometers northeast of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince at an altitude of 76 meters above sea level. On January 1, 1997 there were 31,413 residents in Verrettes. The number of residents increased to 90,226 by 2003.

The local vocational school Saint Robert , which was handed over to those responsible on site in December 2004, is financed by donations from Switzerland.
