Duplication process
Duplication processes are (analog) technical processes for the reproduction of any (analog) documents (e.g. letters , photos , technical and other drawings ). The methods of reproduction include a. various printing processes and photographic fine printing processes .
The best known methods of reproduction are:
- Daguerreotype
- Electrophotography (also called xerography or electrofacsimile process , coll. Misleading also "photocopy"; cf. ↓)
- Photo galvanography
- Photocopy (the official name of a specific contact copy process)
- Hectography using the hectograph roll
- the various pause procedures
- Calotype (also called talbotype )
- Making copies on a typewriter using carbon paper (only suitable for small numbers of copies)
