Desperate Househusbands was a radio comedy series on the radio broadcast Ö3-Wecker . The three main characters Rudi, Karl and Ferdl grapple with the problems of household chores and relationship problems with their wives. The series started in May 2005 on the occasion of the start of the TV series Desperate Housewives on ORF . In October 2005 the best episodes were released on CD by the Hoanzl publishing house . The author of this radio comedy is Gregor Barcal , the other speakers are Herbert Haider and Martin Riegler .
