Veseluvka is a place with 77 inhabitants (as of 2011) in the Užusaliai district of the Rajongemeinde Jonava , southwest of the central town Jonava in the Kaunas district in Lithuania . The name of the village is of Slavic origin ( Russian весёлый means "funny").

history

In 2001 there were 58 residents. The village has been the center of the subordinate district of the same name with 400 inhabitants since 2009. The sub-district includes the village of Veseluvka and the Gėlių, Jaunimo, Vyturių, Miglos, Beržų, Bijūnų, Rudmėnų and Taikos streets with the house numbers 1-24, 26 and 28. In 2008 the council of the Rajongemeinde Jonava wanted rename the village Linksmėnai .
