Richard Georg Eduard Müller (born August 9, 1910 in Dortmund , † 1993 ) was a German psychologist .

Life

Family and education

The Evangelical baptized, coming from Dortmund Richard GE Müller, son of the cooper Emil Müller and his spouse Emilie nee Sharp, turned to the High School studying psychology, pedagogy , sociology and special education to 1947 he was at the Technical University of Braunschweig to Dr . rer. nat. doctorate , in 1951 he acquired the degree of a qualified psychologist .

Richard GE Müller married Käthe Rohkohl in 1936. The children Almut and Marbod came from this connection. He died in 1993.

Professional background

Richard GE Müller was employed as a primary school teacher since 1934 , later as primary school director. In 1955 he took over the function of a special school director, in 1962 he received a lectureship at the Bielefeld University of Education . In 1965 he followed a call to the full professorship in psychology and the direction of the seminar for psychology and sociology at the Pädagogische Hochschule Ruhr in Hagen , 1976 he retired .
