Vesna Acevska

Vesna Acevska ( Macedonian Весна Ацевска ; born November 10, 1952 in Skopje , SR Macedonia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Macedonian poet, author and translator.

Vesna Acevska graduated from the University of Skopje with a degree in philosophy. She then worked as a journalist for the newspaper "Republika" and since 1992 at the State Institute for National History in Skopje. Since 1991 she has been a member of the Association of Macedonian Writers. In 2000 she won the “ Grigor Parlitschew ” literary prize . She is one of the most famous translators of the works of Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva into Macedonian.
