Vestfirðingasögur
Vestfirðingasögur is a modern literary term under which a group of Icelandic sagas are sorted in Scandinavian Mediavistics . What these materials have in common is that they are set in the fjord region in western Iceland. In addition to the sagas, the group also includes pieces of short prose from the Þáttr - individual stories of Icelanders - including:

- Gísla saga
- Hávarðar saga Ísfirðings
- Auðunar þáttr Vestfirzka
- Þorvarðar þáttr Krákunefs
- Hrómundar þáttr halta
