Veye Wirngo Tatah

Veye Wirngo Tatah (born July 14, 1971 ) is a Cameroonian computer scientist, journalist and honorary editor-in-chief of Africa Positive magazine . She has emerged in the public discussion particularly through her commitment to a positive view of African countries and her rejection of the role of victim for Africans.

Life

Tatah was born in Cameroon. She has lived in Germany since 1991 . After studying computer science, she worked for six and a half years as a research assistant at the computer science faculty at TU Dortmund University . She is self-employed in the areas of IT consulting and development, project management and intercultural communication. She is also the owner of the catering company Kilimanjaro Food.

With numerous projects such as the Afro- LIM , the African women's network or the youth organization Africa Positive Youths , she advocates integration and international understanding.

On February 25, 2010 Tatah received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. She received the award for her special social commitment.
